Approves five landmark projects to transform Anambra

The Executive Council (ANSEC) of the Governor Chukwuma Soludo led government has approved several landmark projects worth billions of naira.

The approval is aimed at boosting infrastructural development and transforming Anambra State to a technological hub.



The approved projects include, construction of a Specialist Hospital in Fegge, Onitsha South Local Government Area, valued at N679,898,015.26. This project is purposed to enhance healthcare delivery in the state, Erosion control at Awgbu community in Orumba North LGA (N96,596,804.96, Supply of Heavy Duty Trucks and equipment to OCHA Brigade (N191,285,500), Supply and installation of machines and equipment to retool Anambra State Hydroform and Concrete Agency (N472,991,789.26)

In a groundbreaking initiative, the Council also approved the creation of a “One Million Tribe” of young tech experts to position Anambra State as the digital capital of Nigeria.

It also approved the establishment of a Public Community Private Partnership (PCPP) platform to enable Ndi Anambra in Diaspora and within the country to contribute to community development.

These approvals has demonstrated the state government’s commitment to driving growth, improving lives, and fostering a technology-driven economy
