 Fear, anxiety heightens in Anambra as Archbishop Okpala, driver goes missing

Fear and anxiety has heightened in Anambra State following the mysterious disappearance of the Retired Archbishop of the Niger Province and Bishop of Nnewi, Most Rev. Prof. Godwin Okpala during a trip.

Information has it that Archbishop Okpala was last seen on Friday with his driver when he took a trip to Umuchu, a community in Aguata Local Government Area of the Anambra State. 

It was gathered that the Archbishop never arrived at his destination, and all attempts to reach him have been unsuccessful 

When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer, Anambra State Command, Tochukwu Ikenga, said he was unaware of the development.

The disappearance of Archbishop Okpala has sent shockwaves throughout the state, coming at a time when the state is witnessing an upsurge in kidnappings, activities of unknown gunmen and cult wars which has left many young men dead. 

While the search for Archbishop Okpala and his driver continues, the people of Anambra State remain in a state of anxiety, praying to God for their lives and safe return.
