I married a vigin, I challenge you to a fidelity oat taking, paternity test- Mrs Soludo to Ekwunife

The wife of Anambra state Governor, Dr Nonye Soludo, has challenged the deputy governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Senator Uche Ekwunife to a paternity test of their children and taking of oat of fidelity before the Blessed Sacrament saying, "I married a virgin and have not known another man in 55 years of my existence."
Mrs. Soludo who stated this in a statement in response to all the darts thrown at herself, her husband and children at large.
She described Ekwunife’s outburst as false and malicious claims warning that if apology is not tendered within 72hours, she would take legal action.
While noting that her lawyer has been notified already, the First Lady stressed that involving her children in political disputes is by no means crossing the line
According to the governor’s wife, a public oath before the Blessed Sacrament would put to rest any questions of integrity.
She said, “Since Senator Ekwunife claims to be a Catholic convert, I challenge her for both of us to swear an oath of fidelity and chastity in front of the Blessed Sacrament and the Bible. I will swear, with my children present, that in my 55 years, I have known only one man—my husband, Chukwuma Soludo.
"She should also swear, with her children or her political ambition at stake, that since her marriage she has never been unfaithful.
“I challenge you, Uche Ekwunife, to a paternity test for our children in three reputable hospitals in London. I will cover all expenses, including travel costs for your family. If the results confirm your husband fathered all your children, I will congratulate you and present you with a cash award.】
“I married my husband as a virgin, and for 33 years, my fidelity to him remains unshaken. I have never worked for government nor depended on public funds, even as First Lady.”
She further described her confrontation with Ekwunife as a marathon race, adding that she would maintain her defence with dignity and grace.
She added, “My weapons are decency, character, and grace. I am a long-distance runner, and I welcome you to the marathon."
