He disclosed this during a meeting with leaders of the.parry at the party’s new Secretariat located opposite the Agu-Awka government House.
He cited the action as the reason why some of the political parties had jettisoned the arrangement reached by the Inter Party Advisory Council IPAC not to participate in the planned Council polls in the state
While urging the party faithful to remain focused, Ejidike said, "APC is the major opposition party in Anambra state.
“I called one of our colleague chairman of one of the parties and asked him why, he told me he was feeling sleepy and pleaded to speak with me the following morning
"Since that day, I’ve called him eight times and he has refused to pick my call. This is to show you how some of them are ridiculing themselves. It’s so unfortunate. APC is a big party and we are now doing it our own way
“Already, thousands of APGA members have indicated interest to join APC. The day the National chairman of our great party will come here to commission the new Secretariat, it will be tsunami.
“Very soon, APC will commence local government tours in the state ahead of the 2025 governorship election, so Ward and local government chairmen should always be ready.
“The local government elections they said they are preparing is not for APC, we must teach them how politics is played.APGA and Governor Chukwuma Soludo want to do what they could not do for over two year in just 30 days, is it possible?
Since that day, I’ve called him eight times and he has refused to pick my call. This is to show you how some of them are ridiculing themselves. It’s so unfortunate. APC is a big party and we are now doing it our own way
They should assemble their legal team, APC has done that already, let’s see how it goes. We won’t be part of legitimizing illegality."
Meanwhile, one of the chieftains of APGA, Chinedu Obigwe have debunked the allegation, describing it as falseccord.
According to him, APC does not want to partake in the Council polls because they were not on ground in Anambra state and would be beaten mercilessly during the election.
Meanwhile, the party used the occasion to accord one of the APC’s leaders ,Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, who died recently, a minute silence before the commencement of the meeting
